Captain Carlos Murillo
Born and raised in Playa Flamingo in 1986, I am a proud local with a deep connection to the ocean. My passion for fishing began at an early age, thanks to my grandfather and older brother, who introduced me to the art of fishing. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills, working on various boats—from traditional artisanal fishing vessels to professional sportfishing charters.
I’ve had the privilege of competing in numerous prestigious tournaments, such as the los cabos Bisbee’s, the los sueños Triple Crown, the Pelagic Rockstar in marina pez vela quepos, and the Billfish International in El Salvador among other’s, Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to earn recognition and awards in some of these renowned events, a testament to my dedication and love for the sport.
Family is at the heart of everything I do. I’ve been happily married for over 14 years, and my wife and two children are my greatest supporters. Their encouragement fuels my drive to keep improving and to share my passion with others.Now, I am thrilled to captain the Next Level, a vessel equipped with the best technology and fishing gear you could wish for on your adventure. Randy Vázquez
Hi, I’m Randy Vázquez, born in 1993 and proud to call Playa Brasilito my home. Growing up in this amazing fishing community, I’ve been surrounded by the ocean and fishing my entire life. My father, a fisherman and boat owner, introduced me to the world of sportfishing from the time I could walk, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I have a true passion for all kinds of fishing, whether it’s shore fishing, bottom fishing, or trolling. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work as a first mate in numerous fishing tournaments alongside my dad. These experiences have helped me grow as a professional and deepened my love for what I do.
I’m dedicated to my work and genuinely enjoy every moment of it. I believe in putting in the effort to make each trip memorable for our clients, and I always aim to provide the best service possible. Now, I’m thrilled to be part of the Next Level team, an incredible boat equipped for unforgettable adventures.
